Inondation

It was scary because we didn't know how high the water was going to get.
We moved out for a few days until the water started to descend.
Kiwi woke up and saw half the garden covered in water and said can we keep it as a piscine.
All the water has now left the sous sol and we have had the chaudier repaired and the electric is back on.

We just have lots of cleaning to do and to remove all the dead plants from the garden and hope the grass grows back ok.
We are very lucky that the water didn't enter the main living areas of the house.

Yes we are very close to the river and the end of our garden is the river!
The end of our garden was over 3 metres deep in water and our house was 1 metre deep in water.

I went for a walk to see the other streets effected and it looked like Pierre's street was hit really bad and so i suspect his house was flooded as well.

Sorry to hear about that, You bought your house 1 month too early.
I hope you are now dry, the water gone from the garden and extracted from underground(waterpump).
Does the child and your wife scared about the flooding ?
I also think you're too close from the river "Yerre".
A dentist I know at Crosne has some water in its office to She must be near your house.
I hope too, at least, insurance can cover most damages and reimburse you properly.
